The Netherlands Foundation for Cardiovascular Excellence is an independent scientific organisation to advance research, innovation and education in cardiovascular medicine and science. Main objectives of the NFCVE are:

• To promote and support Cardiovascular scientific research and publications;
• To conduct all activities that can support this objective through:
• Providing research grants
• Awarding clinical and scientific excellence
• Organizing scientific lectures and meetings

On this Web site, you will find information about our grant and award program which provide financial support for research and fellows in cardiovascular sciences. Recipients of these nationally competitive NFCVE grants are selected by an independent scientific advisory board (ISAB) made up of leaders in the cardiovascular field.
