The purpose of the research grants of the NFCVE is to support Dutch research projects on a cardiovascular topic concerning prospective, innovative and clinically relevant studies with a focus on piloting new ideas.
The maximum amount of funding is € 100.000 per project.
The following prerequisites need to be met, in order to apply successfully for a Grant:

• Dutch research project
• Clear overview of costs and activities, and financial disclosure (co-funding)
• Prospective studies only
• Cardiovascular topic
• Nominee must not be older than 35 years of age

The Selection Criteria are as follows:

• Innovative (hypothesis)
• Relevant (results)
• Quality of proposal (application report)
