Main objectives Netherlands Foundation for Cardiovascular Excellence are:

• To promote and support Cardiovascular scientific research and publications;
• To conduct all activities that can support this objective through:
  • Providing research grants
  • Awarding clinical and scientific excellence
  • Organizing scientific lectures and meetings

To this end, the Foundation has an Independent Scientific Advisory Board (ISAB) which reviews and selects the award winning research proposals and Excellence3 Award winner.

At the NFCVE yearly event, the award winning research and fellow will be announced.
